Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data QuickDone collects, why we collect it, who can see it, and what you can do about it. QuickDone is run by iSoft (“we”, “us”).
What we collect
- Your account: your name, email address, mobile number, a hashed password (we never keep the password itself), an optional profile picture, and your choices of language, theme and time zone.
- What you add: boards, lists, cards, labels, checklists, comments, attachments, and the activity history of your boards.
- People you invite: the email addresses you type when you invite someone, and the groups you save.
- Alerts and settings: your notifications, your notification preferences, and the private link of your calendar feed if you create one.
- Being online: while a board is open, the other members of that board can see that you are online. This is not stored.
- Technical data: your IP address and basic details of each request are processed to keep the service secure, for example to slow down repeated sign-in attempts. When something goes wrong on our side we keep a short error record with the page address and, if you were signed in, your account number. It is not designed to contain your password or the text of your boards.
We do not use advertising or third-party tracking tools.
Cookies
QuickDone uses only the cookies it needs to work. They are not used to follow you to other sites.
.qd.auth: keeps you signed in..qd.af: protects forms against forgery.qd_lang: remembers your language.qd_theme: remembers light or dark.
How we use your data
- to run QuickDone: show your boards, deliver alerts and due-date reminders, send invitations;
- to keep accounts and the service secure and to prevent abuse;
- to send the emails you need: confirming your address, resetting your password and invitations;
- to be able to reach you about your account if that is ever necessary, for example because of a security problem (we do not use your mobile number for advertising);
- to find and fix problems.
We do not sell your personal data. We send service emails only.
Who can see your data
- People on your boards: they see what their role allows and the names and profile pictures of the other people on the board; owners and admins also see email addresses. Your mobile number is not shown to them.
- Nobody else: other users cannot search for you or list accounts.
- Our team: administrators can see account details (name, email, mobile number, status) and technical records to run and protect the service. We do not read your boards, except where needed to fix a problem, to investigate abuse, or when the law requires it.
- Service providers: we use providers to host QuickDone and its database and to send email. They handle data for us only to provide those services.
- Authorities: only when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is active.
When you delete your account we remove your profile and the content you own. Comments and activity you left on other people’s boards stay there, but your name is replaced by “Deleted user”, so the history of those boards still makes sense.
Backups, if any, are overwritten on their normal schedule. Error records are deleted after 90 days.
Security
We protect your data with HTTPS, hashed passwords, a permission check on every request, limits on repeated sign-in attempts and restricted access for administrators. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and tell us if you notice anything unusual.
Your choices and rights
- Change your name, mobile number, profile picture, language, theme, time zone and password in Profile.
- Choose which alerts you receive, and mute any board.
- Export a board to CSV or print it.
- Delete your account in Profile. This cannot be undone.
- Write to us to ask for a copy of your data or to correct it.
Children
QuickDone is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you think a child has given us data, tell us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version; if a change matters, we will tell you in the app or by email. The rules for using QuickDone are in the Terms of Use.
